A male resident of a Nibley trailer park was apprehended early this morning after admitting he had been firing gunshots at his own ceiling. Sheriffs Lieutenant Chad Jensen says sheriffs deputies responded to a complaint shortly after midnight from someone who believed there was a prowler in the area. Officers found no one when they arrived at the trailer park located at about 75 West 2600 South. Jensen says a second caller reported hearing gunshots and a SWAT team was sent out. A male Hispanic, believed to be in his forties, was apprehended peacefully, admitting he had fired the shots. Investigation is continuing and charges are expected to be filed soon.
