The 32nd annual Girls Junior America’s Cup begins at Logan Golf and Country Club with practice rounds today and opening ceremonies at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend. There are 18 teams entered from 12 states. It’s only the second time Utah has hosted these great girls players ages 14 through 18. The Southern California team is the five time defending champion. Christine Wong of British Columbia is the individual defending champion returning for a shot at another title. The Utah team is comprised of Sirene Blair, Tara Green, Nikki Gaddie and Courtney Smith. First round action begins Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The public is invited to watch the tournament for free, just pick up at spectator badge at Logan Golf and Country Clubhouse.
