The Utah Depart of Transportation is presenting a proposed design for improvements to the 10th West-State Road 252 project at a public open house tonight. It will be held between 5:30 and 7:30 pm at the Woodruff Elementary School.UDOT is nearing completion of the planning and concept design process for improvements to the road and the project team will be available to answer questions and gather comments on the proposed design. Anyone interested in the project is invited to drop in during the two-hour period to view displays of the proposed design, discuss details with UDOT and the project team and provide comments.The project limits include 10th West from the intersection of US 89-91 South to 2500 North and then east on 2500 North to U.S. 91 (or Logan’s Main Street). .The UDOT is also announcing that they will be painting new stripping on U.S. Highway 89 through Logan Canyon today. UDOT Spokesman Vic Saunders says the Region One Paint Crew will be paiting until 3 p.m.Saunders says motorists should watch for slow moving vehicles in the roadway applying painted striping to the roadway. Highway Patrol troopers will follow a short distance behind painting vehicles to act as a buffer between vehicles and the paint trucks.Saunders says motorists shuld avoid changing lanes or moving back and forth over the newly painted stripes to avoid getting the wet paint on their vehicles.
