LOGAN, Utah (AP) – A Utah State University archaeology professor says 19 students hope to find Paleo-Indian artifacts at an excavation they’re starting today (Wednesday) near the Bear River in southeast Idaho.The owner of the farmland has already found several ancient spear points, and assistant professor Bonnie Pitblado says the 10-day dig might uncover items up to 9,000 years old.
