All Utah State University Aggies, young and not quite so young, will find something to do when they join other alumni and friends of USU at Lagoon Park on Thursday. The event is sponsored by the USU Alumni Association, and Patty Halaufia, Executive Director of Alumni Relations, says there will be reduced ticket prices for everyone. Halaufia says Lagoon Park is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Aggies are invited to meet together at six p.m. at the Davis Pavilion in the park where they will have some special presentations taking place. “We [will] have a lot of representatives from the university,” Halaufia explained on Tuesday morning’s KVNU Crosstalk Show. “Coach Mathis will be there from the football team. He’ll have a couple players there. We’re hoping that their posters are ready so we can do some autograph signings with those players. “Jen Putnam’s office, the Admissions Office, will be there with information about the university. The Bookstore will be there so if you need to get your Aggie gear before football season starts, it’s a time to get that.” Halaufia said last year 700 people turned out for last year’s Aggie Family Day at Lagoon and they are hoping there will be even more this year.
