Cache Valley Cruise-In week

This is Cache Valley Cruise-In Week and Show Chair Chris Garr says you may have already seen this year’s giveaway car, a classy, black 1937 Ford Coupe.Garr says among the week’s activities are Thursday’s Poker Run to Bear Lake and a Three Dog Night concert that evening at the outdoor arena at the Cache County Fairgrounds. She says the Show and Shine activities are all day Friday and Saturday at the Fairgrounds. On KVNU’s Crosstalk show last week, Garr talked about this year’s cars. “We have a group coming from Arizona, Oregon, and Washington,” Garr explained. “There [are] some car clubs coming from there. There [are] people from North Dakota that are already in town and then the Miller [Motor] Sports Park is bringing two or three of Larry Miller’s cars. I believe a couple of his Shelbies will be here. That’s always really interesting to go over to that vending area to see all of that.”Thousands of people are expected to line Logan’s Main Street Saturday at 6:30 p.m. when the popular Cruise-In Parade takes place. Garr invites the public to the fairgrounds Friday and Saturday to see all the cars because she says only about half of the 800 to 1000 cars participate in the parade. The 1937 Ford Coupe will be given away at 6 p.m. and a $6 admission fee gives you a chance to win.
