Idaho Days

Idaho Days continues today after Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter came to visit Thursday and declared Franklin, the oldest town in the state, as “Idaho’s Capitol for a day.”The Republican governor met with appoximately 100 residents and listened to their concerns. The Relic Hall will be open today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a softball tournament will continue and the Miss Idaho Days pageant will be held tonight at 7:00 in the LDS Stake Center.There is a full day of activities tomorrow including the Idaho Days parade at 10 a.m., benefit auction, baking contest, a dutch-oven dinner, and an evening concert in the park, followed by fireworks.
