The Logan City Police Department busted an auto-burglary ring that was aggressively targeting the city in recent days. Logan Police Captain Jeff Curtis says eight people have been arrested and the investigation continues as to whether there are more involved. At least 60 cars were targeted. Curtis said the thieves took anything in the automobiles of value including money, credit cards, CDs and stereos. There are 30 confirmed victims at this time with more unidentified victims that police are trying to verify. He says the patrol division caught the thieves while they were perpetrating the crimes overnight earlier this week. Curtis said there were also some juveniles involved. KVNU is confirming the identities of those involved and their charges.
