The First Presbyterian Church of Logan has a lot to celebrate this weekend. Not only is the Church celebrating its 130th anniversary but also the completion of a major facility renewal project. More than $1 million was raised after the congregation agreed several years ago to stay where they are rather than build a new Church at a new site. Pastor Paul Heinz invites everyone to attend a community open house Saturday with an ice cream social from 2 to 4 p.m. The celebration dinner and oral history presentation will start at 6 p.m. Sunday morning worships are at 9 and 11 a.m. and dedication of the Renewal Project, in honor of longtime pastor Miner Bruner, begins at 4 p.m. followed by a celebration concert.
