Big Agg Show
Welcome back USU students and faculty! Week of Welcome is going on at Utah State and Thursday from 6:30 to 11 is the Big Agg Show. Six bands perform on the USU Quad throughout the evening, and it’s free.
Katie Mathews Band
Katie Mathews Band performs 8 p.m. Thursday night at Renegade Sports. It’s a benefit concert for cute kids Charlee and Meeka who are battling crazy health issues. Katie is a country artist and has opened for several big names lately.
End of Summer Party
Stevens-Henager College is throwing a party Thursday to celebrate the end of summer. Giveaways, food, local vendors, games and a lot of fun will be going on from 3-8 p.m. on the campus at the south end of Logan.
Rocky Mountain Kickoff
We’ve got a high school football double header on Thursday on Merlin Olsen Field with the Rocky Mountain Kickoff. Logan versus Preston is at 6, and Sky View versus Shelley will follow that game. Plus, two lucky fans could win $100,000!
Aggie Watch Party
Speaking of football, the Aggies open their season at Wake Forest Friday night and USU is hosting a big watch party on the Quad Friday starting at 5 p.m.
Wellsville Historic Speaker
This weekend Wellsville celebrates Founders Day. A historical speaker will discuss the Scottish immigrants who helped settle Cache Valley on Thursday. Bagpipes will also be involved.
Stampede Rodeo
The Wellsville Stampede semi-pro rodeo is Friday and Saturday night, starting at 7:30 each night.
Founders Day Festivities
And Monday, Labor Day, will be full of activities in Wellsville as they celebrate Founders Day. A run and flag ceremony in the morning, parade at 10 followed by the Sham Battle, and activities all day long take place at the Wellsville City Square.
