Betty Ann Naylor Bayliff

January 16, 1936 – July 10, 2019 – (age 83)

Betty was born January 16, 1936 in Millville, Utah to Albert and Opal Ann Jenson Naylor.

Betty grew up in Providence, Utah and went to Providence Elementary school and graduated from South Cache High School and Seminary.

She married the love of her life, Melvin Jay Bayliff, on June 4, 1954 in the Logan LDS Temple. They moved to North Hollywood, California. After a few years they moved back to Logan, Utah and later to Ogden, Utah.

They have three children; Gary Jay Bayliff, Ogden, Utah, Sherri (Alex) McDonald, Ogden, Utah, and Kenneth Albert Bayliff (Mary Ann who is deceased), Florence, Oregon. They have two grandchildren; Christopher Burgess, Ogden, Utah and Chelsea Lynn Fowkes, Magna, Utah. Betty’s dear, loving husband passed away on September 22, 2014.

Betty cherished her many fun-loving friends and her sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She made us laugh often and she always had a humble and positive attitude. She loved to watch and listen to birds. She enjoyed putting food out for them so they would come closer to her window.

We would like to thank Terrace Grove nurses and staff for their many hours of service.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, July 16th, beginning at 11:00am located at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah with a viewing prior to service from 10:00 – 10:45am.

Interment will take place in the Providence City Cemetery.
