A public open house Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. will celebrate the expansion of Logan Regional Hospital’s cancer center.
The hospital’s new CEO Brandon McBride said it has been years in the planning.
“We’ve been working on the development of this cancer center for the last three to four years,” said McBride. “The center, and the cancer program that is contained within the center, will provide our community with state-of-the-art cancer services and allow for us to continue to provide great cancer services to our patients here in Cache Valley.”
The Gossner Cancer Center will offer oncology and hematology, radiation therapy and infusion services, along with full telehealth access to Intermountain cancer specialists.
