LOGAN — A 24-year-old Trenton man who previously was convicted of drug possession charges has been arrested again, suspected of rape and sodomy.

Domnic Harris was arrested Friday night by probation agents with Adult Probation and Parole. He was booked into the Cache County Jail on suspicion of object rape and forcible sodomy, both first-degree felonies; and violating his probation.

Court records show, Harris pleaded guilty to one count of possession or use of a controlled substance in September 2017. He was later sentenced to serve two-years of probation instead of one-year in jail. He was also ordered to complete counseling, complete 40-hours of community service, and not consume any drugs or alcohol.

The Cache County Attorney’s Office is expected to file new charges within the next couple days.

Harris is currently being held on $60,000 bond. He could face up to life in prison.
