It’s the Weekend: Jan. 10-13, 2019

From concerts to basketball to family game night, we’ve got all the details about what’s going on in Cache Valley here on “It’s the Weekend!”

Loren Allred Concert

You know her voice from The Greatest Showman, and now Loren Allred will be performing this Saturday here at the Cache County Events Center. As part of the Cherry Peak Winter Concert Series, she’ll be joined by phenomenal pianist Jason Lyle Black and up and coming vocalist Lyza Bull. Doors open at 5:30, concert begins at 7.

Future of Scouting

There are a lot of questions about the future of scouting. The Trapper Trails Council is hosting a question and answer event at Ridgeline High School Thursday at 6:30 p.m. It’s part of a Path Forward series they are hosting throughout the state.

High School Basketball

Region play for high school basketball begins on Friday. Good luck to all the schools in Region 12! You can see the full schedule of games here.

Basketball Brown Bag Lunch

Speaking of basketball, the USU women’s basketball team is hosting a brown bag luncheon from 11:45 to 12:30 at the Spectrum on Friday. Bring a bite to eat and join the team for a behind the scenes look at their program.

USU vs Wyoming

The lady Aggies will then host conference rival Wyoming in the Spectrum Saturday at 2 p.m.

Magic Family Game Night

Bring your family to the Logan Library on Friday for a Magical Family Game Night. Come dressed as your favorite Harry Potter character – if you like – and enjoy Potter-themed games from 6-8 p.m., including an escape room, spell casting, wand crafting, board games, and even some karaoke.

Improv Comedy

Antics Comedy Improv kicks off their new season at a new time: now at 7:30 p.m. at the Dansante Theatre on Friday.

3D Archery Shoot

Cache Archers are hosting a 3D Fun Archery Shoot on Saturday at the Cache County Fairgrounds. Come whenever you want between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., kids 11 and under are free.
