If you’re behind on raking up the pile of leaves accumulating in your front yard, there is good news.
The Logan City Environmental Department has announced it will extend the curbside green waste collection (green cans) for the 2018 season to the week of November 26-30th (instead of the previously-announced November 12-16th), weather permitting.
If Logan experiences a significant snow storm with sticking snow, workers will end collection for the season. If there is material in your green can after a snow storm, please set the can out at your next collection day and it will be emptied for the winter.
Roll off containers designated for green waste materials will be removed from the community drop sites located in towns throughout Cache County on Monday, November 19, 2018.
Please keep in mind that green waste can always be taken to the Logan City Green Waste Facility for free.
Cache County residents recycle more than 17,000 tons of green waste materials each year.
