From tractor parades to home parades…from trail runs to memory walks, it’s a beautiful fall weekend in Cache Valley and there is no shortage of things to see and do.
Looking for a job or a career change? The Cache Valley Media Group is hosting a Fall Career Fair on Thursday. Dozens of businesses will be at Castle Manor in Hyde Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Parade of Homes
The latest and greatest building and decorating trends will be on display with the start of the Cache Valley Parade of Homes. It starts this weekend and continues through September 29th.
Vintage Market Days
Not looking for a new home, but would like to improve how yours looks? Vintage Market Days is Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Cache County Fairgrounds.
USU’s College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences celebrates Ag Week this week. Friday morning they’re hosting a Tractor Parade. And the highlight of the week is the Agricultural Products Barbecue! You can sample all kinds of amazing food before the USU vs Air Force football game on Saturday.
The American classic musical, opens this weekend at the Ellen Eccles Theatre. Produced by Music Theatre West, Oklahoma! performances run from September 21st through the 29th.
Music in Logan Canyon
Two opportunities to hear some amazing music in Logan Canyon this weekend. The first is Friday night at the Stokes Nature Center with internationally-acclaimed Fry Street Quartet; and, the second is Saturday night when Hectic Hobo performs as part of the Stokes Nature Center Canyon Jams concert series.
Start Saturday off with a run along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. As part of the Urban Trail Running Series, the six-mile course is from Dry Canyon to Millville City Park and begins at 8 a.m.
Walt to End Alzheimer’s
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is this Saturday. The walk begins at 8:30 a.m. at Merlin Olsen Central Park on Saturday. The event also includes a Silent Auction sponsored by the Reason for Hope team. The money raised will be used to help advance research projects to end Alzheimer’s.
Mormon Tabernacle Choir in Logan
You’ve got two chances to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform Saturday. The first concert is at 2 p.m. with an evening show at 7, both in the Daines Concert Hall at USU.
200 East just below the Logan LDS temple will be shut down on Saturday for the multi-cultural Pioneer Street Fair and Chinese Moon Festival. The event offers free food, entertainment and enrichment from 2-10 p.m. on Saturday.
The Hispanic Heritage Festival is this Saturday. Held at the Logan Library, the festival runs from 4-7 p.m.
Thomas Edison Charter School South presents their Fall Festival on Saturday. It’s from 5-8 p.m. and features food, rides, carnival games, and a whole lot more.
Cap the weekend with the USU football game vs Air Force. It’s a White Out game, kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. and it will be shown on ESPN2.
