This summer’s downtown Gallery Walk is scheduled for Friday, July 13 from 6-9 p.m. Cache Valley Center for the Arts Marketing Director Tracy Munson says it should be a perfect evening for a free family outing, a special date, or feeding your creative soul.
She says each business will be hosting something unique.
“It’s going to be a extra-exciting event,” Munson exclaims, “because it is combined with the Sidewalk Sale in downtown Logan. There is going to be a lot happening.
“One of our venues, the Artists Gallery at 43 South Main, is actually having a silent auction of not just artwork but other contributed items from businesses, including Herm’s and Utah Festival Opera. We have several members of the co-op (who) are showing their work.”
Munson says S.E. Needham Jewelers will have the work of Jonny Hatch on display. Hatch has created sandstone landscapes and other geological beauties with vibrant and fluorescent acrylic paints.
The art of Heather Swan will also be on display at Stacked Pancakes. Munson says Swan likes to paint whimsical botanicals in watercolor.
