Toddler hospitalized after entertainment center falls on him

LOGAN — A three-year-old boy was hospitalized Thursday morning after an entertainment center fell on top of him.

Police and paramedics were called to a home near 800 S 1500 W in Logan, after a resident of the home called 911. The caller told dispatch operators that the child was bleeding a lot.

Logan City Police Chief Gary Jensen said paramedics transported the boy to Logan Regional Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The boy was later transferred to Primary Children’s Medical Center.

Officers report the boy was playing with his siblings around 9:30 a.m. when the accident occurred.
