The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 124-117 on Monday night as coach Tyronn Lue began his leave of absence to address health issues. Lue said Monday in a statement he been dealing with chest pains and loss of sleep.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers are going to be without their red-headed slugger on opening day, and possibly for a while after. Justin Turner has a broken left wrist after being hit by a pitch during Los Angeles’ 3-1 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Monday night. General manager Farhan Zaidi said the team didn’t know yet how long Turner would be out.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — A winter storm expected to hit the Northeast is forcing at least one college basketball team to alter its travel plans for the third round of the NCAA Tournament. West Virginia’s athletic department announced Monday night the Mountaineers will leave a day early for Boston. WVU says it will depart Morgantown on Tuesday instead of Wednesday. Fifth-seeded West Virginia meets top-seeded Villanova in the East Region semifinals at TD Garden on Friday night.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts finally made a splashy signing Monday night. It should make Andrew Luck happy, too. After adding only one player in the first five days of free agency, the Colts agreed to a deal with former Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron. Contract terms were not immediately available.

CHICAGO (AP) — The Laver Cup was a hit last year, and now Roger Federer is hoping it proves popular on U.S. soil. The 20-time Grand Slam champion made his first-ever visit to Chicago on Monday to promote the second Laver Cup, a team competition that debuted last year in Prague. Federer was joined by tennis legends Rod Laver and John McEnroe, along with young Australian star Nick Kyrgios.
