KEITH RICHARDS APOLOGIZES FOR VASECTOMY CRACK

NEW YORK (AP) — Keith Richards says he’s sorry for suggesting that Mick Jagger needed a vasectomy after becoming a father again at age 74. Richards did an interview with WSJ magazine in which he ridicules his Rolling Stones bandmate after having an eighth child, saying “it’s time for the snip.” Hours after the article came out, Richards said he deeply regretted his words — and that his comments were completely out of line. Richards also says he apologized to Jagger in person. The two have had their share of beefs over the years.

TV SHOW’S DEBUT DELAYED DUE TO FLORIDA SCHOOL SHOOTING

NEW YORK (AP) — Imagine turning on the TV next Wednesday — exactly three weeks after the Florida high school shooting — and seeing the debut of a TV series about a plot to kill kids at a high school. Most would find that kind of unnerving. And that’s why the network that did the series is delaying its scheduled start. Paramount says the series will eventually air — but later this year. The series is titled “Heathers,” based on the 1988 movie. Paramount says the delay is out of respect of the Florida victims, their families and friends.

“FULLER HOUSE” SHOW-RUNNER FIRED

NEW YORK (AP) — A producer of a popular TV franchise has been fired from the project because of misconduct. But this time, the bad conduct doesn’t involve sex. What did cause Jeff Franklin to be axed from “Fuller House?” It’s unclear. Variety reports some had a beef with him about being verbally abusive to staffers and making inappropriate comments to show writers. A rep for Franklin says all this is news to his client. For now, Netflix says it will plan to churn out a fourth season of “Fuller House,” a remake of the old-school series “Full House.”

BRAD PITT, LEONARDO DICAPRIO TEAM UP IN NEW MOVIE

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tell people that Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have signed on to do a movie directed by Quentin Tarantino — and the only questions you will get are: When is it coming out and where can I get tickets? Sony Pictures says the three are working on “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” The movie is about the Charles Manson case — but neither Pitt nor DiCaprio will play the mastermind behind the sect that went on a murderous spree in the summer of 1969. The movie is due out Aug. 9, 2019.

MEGHAN McCAIN – DONALD TRUMP

NEW YORK (AP) — Sen. John McCain’s wife says the nation needs more compassion — and less bullying — from its politicians. The quotation didn’t directly mention President Donald Trump — but didn’t have to. She was talking about Trump’s latest criticism of her husband for helping block his health care repeal — even as McCain continues his fight against brain cancer. Cindy McCain was on “The View” yesterday with her daughter Meghan, who co-hosts the show. Meghan McCain says she spoke with Trump last year and was led to believe he’d ease up on blasting her dad. But she says now she was naive to believe Trump would actually do that.

MET MUSEUM TO CHARGE MANDATORY FEES TO NON-NEW YORK STATE RESIDENTS

NEW YORK (AP) — Want to check out the treasures at New York’s Metropolitan Museum? It will cost you some of your personal treasure. The museum is now charging a mandatory $25 entrance fee to most adult visitors who don’t live in New York state. The new policy was announced in January — and goes into effect today. There are discounted fees for other visitors, like students and seniors. And children under 12 are still able to get in for free.
