LOGAN – The Utah State football team lost Saturday, but it gained a new commit Monday.
Christian Nash, a 6-foot-2, 185 pound wide receiver and safety at East High in Salt Lake City, took to Twitter Monday afternoon to announce his commitment to play football at Utah State. An earlier Twitter post from Saturday evening said he had received an offer.

The East High School football team is at the No. 2 spot in several different statewide rankings and is currently competing in the 6A tournament. Nash recorded an interception against Northridge in the team’s 59-27 first round win in the state tournament on Friday.

According to his Hudl account, Nash played football at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona before joining East High in 2017.
