Nielson advocating for one-way streets in Logan

Hayden Eugene Nielson is running to be the next Mayor of Logan City.

If Hayden Eugene Nielson is elected Mayor of Logan, he will probably be the youngest person to have held that office.

Nielson is 18 years old and he will graduate from Utah State University this summer with a major in Information Technology.

He likes living in Logan and feels there are some good city employees, but Nielson says there are issues he would like to change.

“One of the ideas that I have been hearing a lot to implement,” Nielson says, “is to make 100 East and 100 West one way (streets) so people can get into Logan and get right through, so we can alleviate traffic on Main Street.”

Nielson says he comes from a family interested in politics. In face, his grandfather, Ralph Haycock, was a former mayor of Hyrum.
