Candidate for Logan City Council wants to focus on jobs and economic development

Jobs and economic development: those are two of the issues Jess Bradfield will give a high priority to as he campaigns for a seat on the Logan Municipal Council. Bradfield feels he is well qualified for the position through both his education and his work experience.

He has degrees in both communications and human resources and is currently employed as Human Resources Manager at JBS Swift in Hyrum. He is a resident of Logan and believes the city’s residents are interested in growth as long as it is “smart growth.”

“People are worried about maintaining smart growth,” Bradfield says. “They want to see the city grow in a sustainable way. I’ll be working with the city to make sure we do that.

“Also, some of the businesses have said we are very strict for business, with licensing and things like that. So I’ll be working closely with businesses to make sure we are a business-friendly city.”

Bradfield and his wife are the parents of three children and they believe Logan is a great place to raise a family. If elected, he vows to work very hard to keep it that way.
