Search and Rescue teams called to help injured snowmobiler

LOGAN — Search and Rescue teams were called to the Peter Sinks area Tuesday, after a snowmobiler reportedly crashed his sled into a shallow sink hole.

The accident was reported just after 1:15 p.m. near the sinks in Logan Canyon.

First responders found the 25-year-old man at the crash-site. He was conscious and breathing but complaining of pain to his femur and lower-back.

There was no one else involved in the accident.

Cache County Sheriff’s Lt. Brian Locke confirmed the man was transported to Logan Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
