Police release more info about man suspected of voyeurism spree

LOGAN — Police believe a man suspected of trying to record girls in a dressing room two months ago, may have also tried similar things at Utah State University.

Logan City Police Capt. Tyson Budge said investigators have received information from USU police officers about a man matching the suspect’s description, who had tried to film under women’s skirts on campus.

“It was similar behavior,” said Budge. “Looks like he was trying to record young ladies in different ways. I appears that he may have had some kind of recording device on his foot.”

Police believe the man is the same suspect who was seen by an employee at a dress store in the Cache Valley Mall, trying to use his cell phone camera to record customers, while they were changing clothes inside dressing rooms.

The suspect appeared to be in his early 20’s, around six-foot tall, 180 lbs. and Caucasian. He was wearing an Aggie t-shirt, ball cap and Levis.

Budge said USU police were also able to get several pictures of the man off security cameras and he appears to be the same suspect.

“Just from the hat and the shorts, it looks like it’s the same young man.”

Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to call police.
