The Family Place benefit dinner to be held Friday

LOGAN – April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and The Family Place CEO Esterlee Molyneux said the various events held during the month to provide an education on child abuse have been extremely successful.

The final major event comes on Friday April 22 when the 11th Annual Blue Ribbon Benefit Dinner and Auction is held at the Riverwoods Conference Center in Logan at 6:15 p.m.

“It’s our largest fundraiser of the year,” Molyneux said. “We have a plated dinner planned. We have a live auction and also a silent auction. We have live music so it’s just a wonderful night out helping to raise funds to help our program continue at The Family Place.”

The theme will be “Evening at Sea,” dress is semi-formal attire and Molyneux said it’s already so successful that tables are sold out, but said there are spots for seating. If interested call 752-8880 for more information. She said for those not able to get the dinner, donations can be made online or by telephone.
