CAPSA asking for community help to Stuff the Truck

It is time once again to come help Stuff the Truck with supplies for CAPSA (Citizens Against Physical and Sexual Abuse). CAPSA representative Harmony Davis invites everyone to bring their contributions to Smith’s Marketplace at 700 North Main in Logan on Saturday, April 16.

Davis says members of the CAPSA staff will be there from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help get the items into the truck. So, what items are needed most for the CAPSA shelter?

“We do have a lot of need from a variety of items,” explains Davis. “Right now some of those are non-perishable food items, paper products, toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, baby wipes, things like that.”

Davis says a lot of women do not have time to get their own possessions when they are in a hurry to escape domestic violence.
