Third Utah State student-athlete released from hospital following last week’s car crash

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State redshirt junior defensive lineman Edmund Faimalo (Fie-mah-lo) was released from the hospital Tuesday, five days following a car crash in Cache Valley last Friday afternoon.

Faimalo (Riverside, Calif.) is the third USU student-athlete released from the hospital as redshirt freshman defensive lineman Adewale Adeoye (Ada-wally A-day-o-yah) from St. Louis, Mo., and senior defensive lineman John Taylor (Colton, Calif.) were both released from the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Senior defensive lineman Travis Seefeldt (Peoria, Ariz.) and former USU softball player Sarah Vasquez (Colton, Calif.) continue to improve but remain in area hospitals.

More information on the condition of those remaining in hospitals along the Wasatch Front will be sent out when available.
