LOGAN — A candle light vigil is being planned for Matt Del Grosso, the 23-year-old rock climber who died last week after an accident in Green Canyon.

The memorial will be held Thursday night at 9 p.m. in the pavilion at King Park, at the mouth of Green Canyon. Del Grosso’s parents and other family members are planning to attend.

Del Grosso was from Maryland and was attending school at Utah State. Last Thursday he was rocking climbing with three friends when he fell and later died near Scout Cave.

A facebook page has been created with details about the vigil. The address is: https://www.facebook.com/events/1400753960252389/
