Do Good and Eat Good to help families struggling with cancer

You can Do Good and Eat Good at the same time according to Heidi Bullock, a member of the board of directors for Cache Valley for Hope. Bullock says all you have to do is eat at the Logan HuHot on Wednesday, March 25 where all of the proceeds will go to help families affected by cancer.

Her sister experienced cancer a couple of years ago and Bullock says there were expenses they never expected.

“We have families that have to travel out of state to take their child to go get treatments in specialized cancer facilities,” Bullock explains. “We have people who are behind on their mortgage or they may have a utility bill where they just didn’t have enough in their bank account to do that.

“Instead of having to liquidate, we’ve had families that have had to do that, who have lost their homes because of cancer. We’re trying to help with some of those financial obligations that come up with cancer.”

Bullock encourages local residents to eat at HuHot, located at 660 South Main in Logan, on March 25th and try to take friends or family with you.
