Utah State men’s basketball adds second commitment for 2015-16

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State men’s basketball head coach Stew Morrill has announced the addition of 6-4 wing Dusan Majstorovic to the team for the 2015-16 season, having signed the Serbian native to a National Letter of Intent.

Majstorovic will join the Aggies from Lee Academy Prep School (Lee, Maine) where he averaged 14 points and six rebounds per game. He had his best game against Bridgeton Academy where he scored a season-high 36 points.

Prior to coming to the United States, Majstorovic was a member of the U16 Serbian super league team where he was named MVP and averaged 21 points. He also a member of the U16 Serbian National Team.

“We believe Dusan has the ability to help our program immediately,” Morrill said. “He is a big, strong wing who can score in a variety of ways, including shooting the ball with range.

“Dusan’s experience on the Serbian National Team has helped his development and should aid him as he adjusts to Division I basketball,” he continued. “He also has a toughness about him and we are excited that he will be an Aggie.”

Majstorovic is the second signee for the Aggies this season, joining Brighton High School’s Brock Miller who is anticipated to join Utah State in 2017-18 upon the completion of a two-year LDS Church Mission.
