Police looking for couple suspected of multiple burglaries

Male suspect believed to be connected with several smash and grab auto burglaries. The suspect has used the victim's debit/credit cards at local businesses.

LOGAN — Police are looking for two people who they believe burglarized several vehicles Wednesday morning.

Logan City Police Capt. Curtis Hooley said the burglaries occurred in the parking lots of Gold’s Gym and Planet Fitness. Another burglary occurred Tuesday night and may be connected.

In each instance, a window was broken from the vehicles and purses were taken.

Hooley said the two suspects are now attempting to use the stolen credit cards at local businesses.

“It looks like Kohls, Maurices and I had heard JC Penny,” said Hooley. “I don’t know of any others, I haven’t been informed of any others at this point. “

Police have several photos of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

The female has long blond hair and appears to be in her early 30s. The male is seen wearing a ball cap and dark hoodie sweatshirt.

Hooley said police also have photos of the vehicle they believe the two are driving.

“As far as I know they have not located it yet,” said Hooley. “It looks like it is a dark, newer model SUV, possibly with a larger hitch is the information I have so far on it.”

Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call police.
