Upcoming business summit encourages Cache Valley businesses to dream big

From a start-up business to a seasoned entrepreneur, the Cache Business Summit is what Cache Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Sandy Emile refers to as a “premiere business conference.”

The event is coming up on March 20 with the theme Ascend to the Next Level. Emile says the business summit is a chance to learn valuable business principles at the hands of those who have created multimillion dollar businesses.

On KVNU’s Crosstalk program Thursday, Emile said the Cache Business Summit will be held at the Riverwoods Conference Center with breakfast at 8 a.m. and the first speaker at 9:15 a.m.

“It’s Paul Woodland,” Emile said of the event’s keynote speaker. “His topic is ‘Dare to Dream.’ It’s a great topic for entrepreneurs. In other words, dream and dream big. Get outside your box and go for what you want.

“I always tell people that come in and they’re thinking about a business that this is a valley where you can make dreams come true. I have seen so many people just with a hope, an idea, an inspiration. Just put the right people together, get your right resources together and it can happen here.”

Emile said speakers will include many local successful entrepreneurs and professional service providers. For more information, contact Mike Young at 797-2277 or the Chamber of Commerce at 752-2161.
