Senior quarterback Braxton Godderidge threw for nearly 250 yards and rushed for 75 more as the Sky View Bobcats raced past Minico, Idaho on Friday on the road.
Both teams struggled to put points on the board in the first half, but a late second quarter touchdown from running back Dane Anferson gave the Bobcats a 14-6 halftime lead.
Sky View erupted in the third quarter, for 230 yards of offense and three touchdowns to open a 35-6 lead, led by Godderidge’s 24-yard touchdown run.
The Bobcats stifled the Minico offense all night, highlighted by a Dillon Smith interception, and Sky View added a pair of late touchdowns.
Godderidge and the Bobcats improved to 2-1 this season, and will prepare this week for their region opener against Bonneville.
