100th anniversary Chamber of Commerce dinner focusing on setting and achieving goals

LOGAN - It is perhaps the most important night of the year for the Cache Chamber of Commerce and the 100th anniversary awards banquet is coming up on Tuesday, Feb. 12 starting at 6 p.m. in the Utah State University Taggart Student Center Ballroom.

The Chamber’s president and CEO, Sandy Emile, says it is time to make reservations for the banquet which has the theme “Team Up With the Cache Chamber–Your Success is Our Business.”

Emile says the keynote speaker is new USU football coach Matt Wells who will be introduced by Kent Stanley, senior associate athletic director.

“They’re going to be talking not just about football but the focus of this year’s event is really about achieving your goals and building a team,” Emile says. “This is something that overlaps to all businesses, to anyone with activities or associations that they’re working with, that they can achieve their goals.

“You can’t just do it by wishing for it.”

The silent auction starts at 6 p.m. followed by dinner, and awards presentations. Emile says a portion of the proceeds this year will benefit CAPSA. The Total Citizen Award this year will be presented to Dr. Merrill C. Daines.
