Bear River romps over Ben Lomond, 47-12

With about two minutes left in the game, the Ben Lomond scoreboard went out (claimed to have been a short in the wires).  It would have been more understandable if they were to blame it on the Bear River Bears.

The Bears put up 42 points in the first half then put it on cruise control to an easy 47-12 win over the Ben Lomond Scots. This win now puts Bear River at 2-1 in region play and looking forward to an exciting match-up vs the Morgan Trojans in Morgan.

It was incredible offensive show of passing and running led by Mr. Do-It-All Kyle Zundle, who amassed 157 yards passing and three touchdowns on 8 of 12 attempts. Zundle also gained 109 yards on seven carries. He then turned the reigns over to his backups the rest of the night by early third quarter.

Next Friday night Bear River heads to Morgan, a game that Bear River Coach Chris Wise said after the game that his kids will be up for. Game broadcast will be at 7 p.m. on 104.9 FM in Box Elder County and on kix96fm.com.
