Inter-faith group sponsoring special Thanksgiving program

The ninth annual Inter-Faith Thanksgiving service will be held Sunday, November 20 at 7 p.m. in the Logan Tabernacle and everyone in Cache Valley is invited to attend. The service is sponsored by Cache Community Connections, a group of faith and civic leaders who got together and formed the organization following the 9-11 terror attacks in 2001.Cache County Council Member Kathy Robison, who is also a member of Cache Community Connections, is in charge of this year’s service. On KVNU’s Crosstalk show Tuesday, she said the theme is “Live Peaceably With All People.””It’s a lot of fun because there are a lot of different interpretations of the theme that is chosen by the group each year,” Robison explained. “It’s fun to see the different presentations.”There are chants, there will be speakers, there will be musical numbers, there will be different faith groups presenting their views but they will only have three minutes to do it.”Robison says the service lasts for one-hour and it is always held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
