Utah Democrat believes Hatch is done, finished

We don’t elect Senators for life but an announced opponent of U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, says, in his opinion, Hatch wants to be in the Senate for the rest of his life.Democrat Christopher Stout says polls show that Hatch is not likely to be re-elected in 2012. On KVNU’s For the People program Thursday Stout said Hatch is constantly pandering to the Tea Party.”He understands that they were a significant force in Mike Lee’s election,” Stout admits. “But I think most importantly we have to look at it from a pragmatic standpoint. “He is flip-flopping. He is taking stands on the Dream Act and even on this Balanced Budget Amendment that he’s come out to support it. This one is much more strict than the one that he proposed that was almost inacted back in ’97.”Tout says, in his opinion, Hatch is done, finished, and no matter how much money he gets or how many Tea Party leaders support him he will not be re-elected in 2012.
