Several agencies were called to help finding a missing 7-year-old boy today. The boy went missing at 4:19 p.m. Friday and was found at a friend’s house a few blocks away from Wilson Elementary about an hour later. He was last seen at the school’s playground wearing blue jeans and a puffy green coat before he went missing. Police set up search headquarters in the school’s parking lot. After noticing a property watch had been placed on the child’s noncustodial father’s house, police located the father’s car in hopes of finding the child with no success. Some family members in the valley were also contacted before the child was located near the elementary school.
