Bear River drops first round game to Cedar City, 72-57

The Bear River Bears lost their opening round game of the 3A playoffs to Cedar City by a score of 72-57. After a heartbreaking loss last week (which could have secured the Bears a Region 11 championship) Bear River had to travel to Cedar City to take on a very good team from Region 9. The Bears’ season experienced a lot of ups and downs after a very difficult start, then getting on a hot streak through region play, having two critical players suffer season-ending injuries on the same night, having a chance to play for a region championship, and then losing in the first round of the 3A playoffs.-Eric Frandsen
