Local man speaks on Haiti recovery efforts

The one-year anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Haiti is coming up on January 12. Cache Valley resident Kristopher Young has been spending considerable time in Haiti involved in humanitarian projects and several projects he’s worked on are starting to make a difference.Young will talk about his experiences Wednesday when he speaks at the Iron Gate Grill at 6:30 p.m. reporting on what he has been doing and what he plans to do when he returns to Haiti later this month. Young says he desperately wants to see more people engaged in projects that will help keep the survival needs of the people in Haiti alive.
