The Logan High Grizzlies drop a heart breaker at Hunter on a Thursday matinee, losing 47-45 after giving up a 3-point shot with only three seconds remaining. With the win, Hunter avenges a 20 point loss they suffered to the Grizzlies earlier in the season. The Grizzlies had an eight point advantage at the end of the first quarter but watched it slip away as Hunter mounted a second quarter comeback, outscoring Logan 17-4. Logan and Hunter traded baskets for much of the third and fourth quarters with Logan gaining a one point advantage going into the game’s final 14-seconds, up 45-44. Hunter’s Jairo Tarver got the ball and hit a 3-pointer with only three seconds left. Apparently out of time-outs, Logan in-bounds the ball and Sage Nyman unsuccessfully launched a shot from more than half-court as time expired.
