Help sought for Ferguson family

Family and friends are coming together to show their support for a Mendon family who lost two boys in a tragic accident the morning of Dec. 18 on SR 165 in Providence. 10-year-old Bridger Ferguson and 7-year-old M’Gwire Ferguson died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident when their older sister lost control of her vehicle on icy roads, sending it into oncoming traffic. M’Gwire died upon impact and Bridger passed away later that evening after being flown to Primary Children’s Medical Center. 18-year-old Ashlyn Ferguson, the driver, was briefly hospitalized as was her 12-year-old sister Savannah. An account has been established at Wells Fargo bank to help the Ferguson family deal with mounting costs as a result of the tragic accident. A flier is being circulated seeking the public’s help. On it, the Ferguson family is described as being self-employed with limited health insurance and no life insurance with seven remaining children. It also states that the Ferguson’s basement was flooded the night of the accident. A Facebook page has been created for family and friends to share memories of the boys and share messages of support. Donations are accepted under the Ferguson Family Help Fund at any Wells Fargo branch or by calling 1-800-869-3557.
