Saturday is May Day in Mendon although events begin Friday night with a community dance starting at 8 p.m. The 8:30 p.m. floor show will include introduction of the May Day Court and program presented by the USU Ballroom Dancers.The traditional braiding of the Maypoles starts Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a program at the LDS Church. A hamburger stand will be open and there will be a baseball tournament during the afternoon. Free children’s games begin at 1 p.m.
