Mother nature plays an early trick

Many valley residents woke to a blanket of snow this morning, with more of the white stuff on the way. A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 4pm this afternoon. Accumulations of one to four inches are expected in the valleys, two to six inches in the mountain valleys and three to eight inches in the mountains. Snow is expected to taper off, but winds may persist. Cooler than normal temperatures are expected today with 44 degrees the expected high, the average for today is 57. The low tonight is expected to be 28.
