Sorensen family issues statement

Statement from the Sorensen Family:

Tony and Mary Sorensen were in the home at the time of the accident. Both Tony and Mary received non-life-threatening injuries. Mary is doing well and is expected to be released from the local hospital today. Tony is stable, and his burns were assessed at the University of Utah Hospital to be less tha 40%, and only second degree burns. He is expected to make a full recovery. Our family wishes to express a heartfelt gratitude to all that have assisted in a myriad of ways, including neighbors, total strangers, fire fighters, Law enforcement and for the miracle of life. We acknowledge the blessings of Heavenly Father and the many tender mercies and miracles which have taken place today. We as a family need time to process the reality of all that has happened. Tony and Mary will each need time to heal both physically and emotionally. They have many friend and family members watching over them.An account has been set up in the name of Dennis Sorensen at America First Credit Union to help cover medical expenses for Mary and Tony.Thank you,The Sorensen Family
